The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and CDPQ have collectively invested around $1.1bn into the battery maker, according to Reuters. Canadian public pension fund OMERS has also been a long-term backer of Northvolt.
